Table Foundry — the ordering platform

Version 2026-09-24 · Last updated 24 Sept 2026

We use only the cookies and browser storage this platform needs to work. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, on this page or on any restaurant's ordering page.

1. What cookies and browser storage are

A cookie is a small file a website can ask your browser to store. "Browser storage" (localStorage/sessionStorage) is similar — data your browser holds for a site, without it necessarily being sent back to the server on every request the way a cookie is. This platform uses both, in the same limited way, wherever you are on it.

2. What we store, and why

  • Your login session — so you stay logged in after an OTP, instead of verifying again on every page. This is what makes checkout possible at all; without it, you'd have to log in for every single action.
  • Your cart, on a restaurant's ordering page — so items you've added aren't lost if you navigate away and come back.
  • Basic app preferences — small bits of state like which tab you last had open.

3. Cookies on the payment page

When you pay, Razorpay's own checkout may set its own cookies on its own page to process your payment securely. Those are Razorpay's, governed by its own cookie policy — not this platform's.

4. Our hosting provider

Our hosting/CDN provider may set a small technical cookie to route traffic efficiently and prevent abuse. This isn't used to track you across other sites.

5. What we don't use

  • No advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • No cross-site tracking.
  • No cookies that build a profile of you for marketing.

6. How to control or delete cookies

You can clear cookies and site data for this platform from your browser's settings at any time. Doing so will log you out and clear any cart in progress — you can log back in with a fresh OTP.

7. If this changes

We use only what's needed to run the platform today. If that ever changes — say, to add a genuinely optional feature that needs its own storage — we'll update this page first.

8. Questions

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data more broadly, or contact us — details are on that page.
